Technical Artist for interactive 3D applications (f/m/d)

Are you passionate about interactive design and 3D user experiences? Do you have a love for new technologies, trends, and tools, and enjoy collaborating closely with experienced developers and designers in a small experienced team?
We offer you a diverse, challenging, and varied role where you have the opportunity to develop and ship interactive real-time applications. You can expect short decision-making processes within flat organizational structures and engaging digital projects with us.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborating with our UX and graphic designers, you'll develop concepts, interactions, and prototypes for an intuitive, playful, and immersive user experience.
- You'll explore and evaluate new devices (Apple Vision Pro, Quest3, VarjoXR) and technologies (LLM, location-based applications) equally.
- During collaborative brainstorming sessions on whiteboards and in Figma, you'll contribute your expertise constructively.
- You use 3D-modelling tools like Blender to prepare and integrate assets into our applications.
- Together with our developers you will build and use custom workflows for interactive story telling and content management.
Your Profile
- You possess relevant professional experience.
- You have excellent skills in working with Unity or Unreal.
- You are comfortable in testing and optimizing applications for various devices, including AR/VR devices.
- You have experience in agile development within a dynamic project setup, skillfully balancing user-friendliness, performance, and efficiency.
- You are familiar with a 3D-Modelling app like Blender or Maya.
- You have an eye for aesthetics and motion.
- Although we have have a great office in Berlin with plenty of whiteboards we offer flexible working hours and home office.
Nice to Have
- You are not scared of writing scripts C# or UE Blueprint.
- You are comfortable switching between MacOS and Windows.
- You are familiar with version control tools like Git or PlasticSCM.
- Knowledge of the German language is advantageous.
